RF Contracting Inc. ("RF") is a multi-industry mechanical contractor operating in northern Ontario with a history of more than 40 years. Our commitment to safety, quality and project execution has promoted our growth and diversified project portfolio, and has a first-class customer base. The project scale ranges from US$100,000 to US$3,000,000 and includes a combination of disciplines such as pipeline assembly, ironwork, and civil engineering. RF reports to the manufacturing shop manager and is looking for a ticketed fitter welder to be responsible for producing high-quality products from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities and responsibilities: • Read engineering drawings and blueprints, determine the required materials, and plan the sequence of tasks • Plan and prepare timetables, milestones, and monitor progress according to the established timetable • Set up and operate heavy metal processing machines • Manual or semi-operation- Automatic welding equipment-FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, TIG, MIG • Lifting, lifting and moving materials in the yard and workshop environment • Must be able to use imperial and metric systems • Apply technical experience to explain documents, specifications, and drawings • Attend site visits , As well as pre- and post-bid meetings• Implement quality control plan• Perform other responsibilities as needed• Priority must be given to health and safety

Qualifications and skills: • With a technical diploma from an accredited institution, Red Seal is an asset • Previous experience in working with manufacturing contractors/purchasing assets • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Project • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Uphold the value of a safe, efficient and productive work environment. • A solid team player with a positive attitude. • Good at managing multiple priorities and project deadlines. • A valid driver's license.
