In this Introduction to TIG welding part one, we will cover the basic safety and equipment settings followed by a few basic weld types. You will learn how to assemble the torch, how to set up our TIG welding machine, how to manipulate a TIG torch (and arc and weld bead), how to strike and maintain your welding arc, and how to add filler material. Proper clothing is required. Long sleeve shirts and jeans along with closed-toe shoes are preferred. We will supply materials.
