Lincoln Electric® has introduced the Flextec® 500X multiprocess welding machine suitable for heavy-duty indoor and outdoor applications. It supports multiple weld processes including GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and CAC-A and can be used with nearly all Lincoln Electric wire feeders.
Basic pulse GMAW capability is standard on the unit, including weld modes for carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and metal-core electrodes, with optimized SMAW for both cellulosic and low-hydrogen electrodes. It’s also enabled with Arclink® technology to provide synergic pulse modes.
Touch-start GTAW allows for simplified, contamination-free starts without high frequency. CrossLinc® technology provides users with the flexibility to control the machine from hundreds of feet away without a control cable.

MELTRIC Switch-Rated plugs and receptacles ensure arc flash safety when disconnecting standard welding plugs and receptacles. These UL/CSA rated receptacles/connectors feature a built-in switching function that verifies contacts are safely deenergized before welding machine plugs can be withdrawn.
