Weldcote, a division of Zika Group, has introduced the MIG 200 Striker multipurpose welding machine for steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Designed for GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW, the compact, dual-voltage machine with digital readouts automatically identifies the power grid voltage and operates accordingly.

The machine features power factor corrector, which increases power efficiency, reduces input power requirements, and stabilizes the welding current to help maximize the efficiency of extension cords and generators. As a safety precaution, it has a device that reduces the voltage across the outputs when idling.

The single-phase inverter includes a hot-start function that provides easy ignition of the weld arc, while arc force prevents the electrode from sticking to the workpiece. A power-saving smart fan feature helps reduce dust.
